It’s no secret that having a cool location for a photoshoot is ideal: the Brooklyn Bridge, a skyline, a studio…chef’s kiss!! BUT: a good challenge for any photographer is creating art and magic in a space that is…less than noteworthy for photos.
Take, for example, KROGER: This concept had actually been in my head as an idea. I reached out to my friend who, of course, was totally game. We used the outside of a Lynchburg, VA Kroger as our studio and set to work. I actually think these are some of the best photos I’ve ever taken.
This goes to show that you shouldn’t wait for the right space to open up to go take photos. Anywhere can be your backdrop.
