If there is one thing that has been proven to me time and time again these last few years, it’s that the Lord provides.
I was supposed to study abroad this semester (Fall 2021), but due to complications with the COVID-19 situation, I pulled out of the program.
With this sudden change in plans I suddenly had no class schedule and no place to live. The classes thing was an easy fix, but my housing situation was a bit more difficult. I had a couple of options that fell through, but finally a girl I knew told me about her friend that was looking for another roommate. It worked out, and BOOM. Housing problem solved.
I also didn’t really know what I was going to do for money. I had resigned from two positions and was suddenly let go from another. I was slightly panicked. But again, the Lord provided. I am by no means rich, but I have what I need. I know I can only attribute that to the Lord.
He’s really provided for me these last few weeks, and who am I to question my future when He holds it in His hand? I genuinely don’t know what I’m doing when I graduate, but I trust that the Lord’s hand is over it. If I don’t get a job I applied for, I assume it’s the Lord’s direction. And for that, I’m thankful!
“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Matthew 6:26 (NKJV)
