Do camera settings scare you?

Do you get freaked out by camera settings?

It’s okay. I did too! But I’m here to help.

ISO: the camera’s sensitivity to light. A low ISO (100) is good for sunny, bright settings! A high ISO (24000) may be used if you are in a darker setting.

Aperture: This will affect how blurry your background is. f 2.0=insanely blurry background-good for portraits! A higher aperture focuses on more “big picture” and is good for landscapes. In addition, a lower aperture (or f-stop) will allow more light into the photo!

Shutter speed: Affects how blurry your photo will be AND affects the light. A good one to set for normal portraits would be 320, but if you are in a dark setting, maybe pump it up! And the higher it is, the LESS blurry it will be (aka a higher shutter speed).

Hope this helps a little!
