The Experience
For portraits, couples, and family sessions I don't shoot by time! It's really just how long it takes:) For weddings I do shoot by time.
I am happy to provide outfit direction! In fact, I'd prefer it:) Based on my experience, I've figured out what looks good and what doesn't. Ultimately, it's your decision though! Also, I talk a LOT during our sessions, so don't be worried about breaking the ice or anything-I got you!
Couples-come prepared to move! When I do paid couples shoots, I typically include some traditional photos, so don't worry about missing those. For the most part, I will be directing you as if you are in a movie or a music video.
Portraits: Also come prepared to move around! I love the authentic look of motion shots and they are a great way to add variety to a gallery-whats the point in paying for a bunch of photos if they all look the same?
For ALL SHOOTS: I take control of directing and posing, so don't feel like you need to come up with all the ideas. Of course, I welcome your inspiration-please send me your Pinterest boards! But feel free to relax and just enjoy being in front of the camera.
What booking looks like:
Once you inquire in my online form, I'll text you! I require a 50% nonrefundable retainer to book your date. If we need to reschedule because of weather or an emergency, that's totally fine! When you're officially booked, we can start chatting about wardrobe, inspiration photos you have, location ideas, and more! I'll help through the entire process. A photoshoot is the same as any other professional shoot: planning yields the best results. Of course, we leave room for spontaneity, but a general plan is going to make you feel more comfortable and know what to expect.

*This information may apply more to certain types of shoots than others; for example: for your wedding your wardrobe is obviously all you! (Unless you want my opinion haha!)* Essentially though, for shoots like couples, portraits, and families, this is the vibe:)
Investment
Portraits/Seniors: $350 (at least 80 photos delivered via digital gallery)
Couples: $500 (at least 80 photos) | Proposal: 675 (coverage of proposal + shoot after, total at least 150 photos)
Family 3-6 people: $600 (at least 100 photos)
Family 6-10 people: $750 (at least 100 photos)
10+ extended family: $900 (at least 100 photos)
Elopements, 0-10 people: $1500
Weddings 6-8 hr: $3500, each additional hour +350) | Second shooter: extra $450

Add on 10 35mm film photos to any session: $150
*anything outside of Virginia Beach, VA/Chesapeake, VA/Norfolk, VA requires extra $ for travel expenses*
